Radio Mobile for Windows is a radio-frequency propagation and network planning tool that predicts coverage and link performance over real terrain. It uses the Longley–Rice (ITM) model together with digital elevation data to estimate path loss, line‑of‑sight, Fresnel clearance, and service availability across VHF, UHF, and microwave bands. You can define sites and networks; set antenna heights, patterns, power, and system gains/losses; and run point‑to‑point or point‑to‑area studies to evaluate coverage, interference, and redundancy. The software generates path profiles and coverage heatmaps, supports antenna pattern files, and enables quick what‑if analysis for siting repeaters, backhaul links, and wide‑area systems. It can use SRTM/DEM elevation datasets and map backgrounds, optionally apply land‑cover/clutter when available, and export results to images or Google Earth (KML) for presentation. Widely used by amateur radio operators, WISPs, emergency communications teams, and RF planners, Radio Mobile for Windows offers a practical balance of accuracy and speed for designing voice, data, and telemetry links on the Windows platform.

Radio Mobile for Windows is developed by VE2DBE. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.9, 9.3, 10.6, 10.8 and 11.0. The names of program executable files are rmwdeu.exe, RMWDLX.exe, rmweng.exe and rmwspa.exe.
